It would. And whatever happens, I'd still be on the Northeastern part of the USA or Toronto, worst come to worst. So I am sure that we could all spend Thanksgiving together or something when we have a longer weekend.
Oooooh... not to mention stuffing ourselves with turkey stuffing. I'm totally in for that. And if my family moves to Canada, which they might, you guys are invited then for the Canadian Thanksgiving in October. Okies, so I'm Croatian NOT Canadian but... extra turkey never hurt anybody. Unless Blovusk cooked it.
It's 10:30 pm and I should wake up at 6:30 tomorrow to get to school. HOWEVER, cuz I am too tired to do more homework, I need to wake up at 5 am tomorrow to get it done. Wish me luck.
Eeek! That's waaay to early for me, though I must admit I've done that quite a few times myself. Good luck at school! I don't start until Wednesday.... *shudder*
*shuddering slightly* Well, that wasn't tooo bad I guess.... an honors class (physics) first thing in the morning, with an AP government chaser, then advance math followed by squishy subjects and then AP english.... *twitch* Well at least no homework on the first day, unlike last year when my psycho english teacher decided to start the homework right away.... Fun thing was I bought a really cool binder that I figured I could use for my first two classes to avoid a trip to my locker, and then my first period teacher decided only a 5 subject notebook would do... Peh. That meant another trip to the store, and then I realized I was short a couple of notebooks... Ah well. How's school going for you two?
Hee heee.... That's just hillarious. Teacher forgets to collect the essays.
The funniest thing happened to me yesterday morning. My school has a separate building for elementary, while middle and high school share a building. Middle school has the right wing, high school has the left wing. I came to school at 7:20 yesterday (it starts at 7:45) and decided to go and talk to the drama teacher who is in the right/Middle School wing. I entered the centre hall and was about to turn right, only to be stopped by a teacher who I don't know. She looked at me and said, "No middle schoolers in the building until 7:30". Acting as best I could to keep a straight, innocent face, I told her that I would be in the left wing (I hoped she'd get the hint I was a high-schooler, if she didn't that would be silly) for the rest of the schoolday. She looked at me again and said, "Still, no middle schoolers till 7:30". Of course, I know better than to argue with such special cases so I simply walked away, laughing, and took an alternative route to get done what I wanted to.
Silly part is, I'm a senior, 5'7" and while that isn't THAT tall (or maybe it is for a girl, I don't know) only seniors in my school are excused from wearing a tie as a part of their school uniforms. I wasn't wearing a tie and if I really WAS a middle schooler, I probably would have ended up with a scolding for that as well. Unless, of course, I really am that cute and innocent on the outside. Lol.
I found it hillarious. It was a bit of an insult at first cuz it's not like I'm a freshman in high school or something, but I think that I'll be really thankful for it when I get old one day. So yup, I think it was kinda cute overall.
