Ben really didn't like where this was going anymore. "Like stealing?"
"Well how else are we gonna do it, dummy?" Devron said.
"Look, maybe I should just go get back to my mom," Ben said.
"Hey are you going to help or what? Bel says if you say you're going to do something you stick to it. He says it's way worse to ditch on responsibilty," Devron said, giving Ben a nudge in the arm.
Ben frowned but didn't say anything. Maybe he'd really be able to help Devron and get back before Clea noticed.

"There are no kids here. Now leave before we have to force you out, ma'am," one of them said. The other had reached for his comm, ready to call their boss if she insisted on sticking around.

Clea folded her arms and stared the one going for his comm down, just daring him to.

Devron led the way back to the turbolift and the two boys stepped back inside to go back to the ground level. Ben decided he'd really have to finish this quickly and then run back. Clea could absolutely not know he had disappeared.
**
He spoke into the comm quietly a moment. "Our boss wants to see you."
A few short minutes later a tall older man appeared and approached. "What seems to be the problem here?"
"This woman seems convinced her eight year old is here and won't leave, sir," one of them said.
Something flickered in Bel's expression before he turned to Clea and extended a hand. "Name's Bel. Sorry to hear about your missing son. We don't just let children walk in here, I'm afraid." He smiled. "I'd be happy to help find him, but I can assure you he's not here."

Clea had no problem staring him down either, even as she took the hand. "Maybe you didn't mean to, but my son IS here. He's a bit of a wanderer so I take precautions to keep an eye on him. My tracker doesn't lie."

Ben followed Devron back outside but instead of heading back to the main road they slipped through some back alleys.
"We've gotta find a new place to go," Devron explained.
Ben groaned to himself at going further from Clea and the building but continued to follow Devron. The faster it was done, the better.
**
Bel eyed it. "Very well, if you like we can start a search. It's very unlikely a boy made it inside but why don't you accompany me as we look."

Clea tucked the tracker into her pocket, knowing it wouldn't help in a building with multiple layers much. "Very well," she said, still a bit suspicious.

Bel motioned Clea to follow him and they headed for a turbolift. It would be easy enough to steer her away from the lower levels of his business. "We'll start from the top and work our way down. It's not an overly tall building," he said as he pressed the button for the top floor. "And I'll get some of my men to search from the ground floor up. This way we won't possibly be able to miss him."

"Thank you," Clea forced herself to say, although something about Bel raised the hair on the back of her neck. "I'm sorry for my son. He has a knack for either getting into trouble or causing someone else's."

"Well I was a young boy myself once. I know how it goes," Bel said easily, stepping out when the turbolift door opened. "We can start looking down here," he added, setting off towards a door and opening it. It was just a large office with a few different beings inside, huddling around a table and seeming to engaged in a conversation that stopped dead when Bel appeared. "Has anyone seen a young boy?"
When they all shook their heads Bel closed the door and turned back to Clea. "What did you say his name was?" he asked as they headed for another door.

"Ben. Or, well, Benson, technically," Clea said.

Bel nodded. Another door showed another office but empty this time. He moved on again. "And what brings you to Corellia? You don't sound native," he observed.
**
Devron had spent the last few minutes instructing Ben on what he needed to do to distract some people long enough for Devron to lift their wallets without them noticing. Ben nodded now, imagining that maybe Dash had done something similar when he was growing up. It made everything exciting for Ben and he temporarily forgot about his hour deadline.

"Business," Clea said with an easy shrug.

"Fellow business person," Bel said with a quick smile. "Interesting." He easily skipped over a door that needed a security code to access it. "What kind of business, if I might ask?"

Clea eyed the door but knew that, for all of Ben's other skills, hacking was not one of his strong points, despite Dash's best intentions. "Shipping," she said, deciding not to go into her other businesses.

"I do some shipping myself. Mostly local, though," Bel said, continuing the door to door search. "I thought I knew most of the people who shipped here."
